James Thompson - President/Co-director
Pastor Jamie and his wife, Andrea grew up in a poor, urban westside community of Chicago. As many strive to break free of the broken community they grew up in, the Lord began to grow a passion in Jamie to stay and serve those in his community. While attending Moody Bible Institute, he started and directed a sports ministry to gang members for eight years. He served as a youth minister for four years before being ordained as a pastor at Armitage Baptist Church. In 2005 Jamie and his family moved to Garfield Park to plant Reborn Community Church and establish Reborn Ministries. Jamie and Andrea are blessed to raise four boys in Garfield Park.
